Mayor Gerton read a letter from Mr. Howard Neely in which he requested that <br /> the week of February 7-13th, 1969, be proclaimed as "Boy Scout Week", and also <br /> that during this week the Boy Scouts be permitted to visit various City staff <br /> officers and Councilmen and "act" in their capacity for a given half hour. <br /> It was moved by Councilman Splliotopoulos and seconded by Councilman Reid <br /> that the week of February 7-13th, 1969, be proclaimed as "Boy Scout Week", and <br /> that the proposal suggested in Mr. Neely's letter, be endorsed. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Rega, Reid, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Getton <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> No one addressed the Chair. <br /> <br /> Mayor Getton recessed the meeting at 9:10 P.M. <br /> <br /> STUDY SESSION RE: RE?ORT OF THE CITY COUNCIL CITIZENS ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON THE <br /> CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT <br /> <br /> Mayor Gerton reconvened the meeting at 10:30 P.M. <br /> <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 10:35 P.M., it was moved by Councilman <br /> Beratlis and seconded by Councilman Reid that the meeting be adjourned to meet <br /> again in Regular Session at 8:00 P.M., on January 13, 1969. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Rega, Reid, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Gerton <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br />.....
