<br />Mayor Bernard Gerton called the Adjourned Meeting of the City Council to order
<br />at 8:00 P.M., and then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag.

<br />City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows:
<br />Councilmen Berat1is, Rega, Reid, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Gerton were present. Mr.
<br />Fales. City Manager, Mr. Edgar, Assistant City Manager. Mr. Hirst, City Attorney,
<br />Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works, and Mr. Castro. Director of Planning, were
<br />present.

<br />There were no amendments to the agenda.

<br />CONSENT CALENDAR
<br />It was moved by Councilman Beratlis and seconded by Councilman Reid that the
<br />following items listed on the Consent Calendar, be approved:
<br />
<br />a. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-279. accepting an easement from H. W. Shackelton
<br />for public improvements relating to the West Pleasanton Sewer Assessment Dis-
<br />trict No. 67-1.
<br />
<br />b. Waiving the reading of Ordinance No. 587, eliminating Section 3.01 of Ordinance
<br />No. 358, namely, the Subdivision Committee and placing those duties of said
<br />Committee before staff review.
<br />
<br />c. Adoption of Ordinance No. 587.

<br />~aive reading Ord. No. 588, amending Ord. No. 520, rezoning from the A (Agricult~r~)
<br />District to the R-1-6500 (Single-Family) and RM-4000 (Multiple-Family) Districts,
<br />that property described as Parcels 1-5. 8-2, 9-4, 10-4. 10-3, 9-3, 8-1 and 1-4,
<br />Assessor's Map Book 99-13. Block 3950, containinR approx. 62 acres and generally
<br />located sou~h of Interstate Bgute 580 and ~~st of Fairlands Drive
<br />Mr. Fales indicated that Ordinance No. 588, amending Ordinance No. 520, rezon-
<br />ing the above described property was introduced at the Council Meeting of November
<br />24. 1969, by a split vote and therefore was not listed on the Consent Calendar.
<br />It was moved by Councilman Rega and seconded by Councilman Beratlis that the
<br />reading of Ordinance No. 588, amending Ordinance No. 520, rezoning from the "A"
<br />(Agricultural) District to the R-1-6500 (Single-Family) and RM-4000 (Multiple-
<br />Family) Districts, that property described as Parcel 1-5, 8-2, 9-4, 10-4, 10-3,
<br />9-3. 8-1 and 1-4, Assessor's Map Book 99-13, Block 3950, containing approximately
<br />62 acres and generally located south of Interstate Route 580 and east of Fairlands
<br />Drive, be waived.
