<br />CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO FlAG
<br />Mayor Bernard Gerton called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at
<br />8:00 P.M., and then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag.

<br />City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll Which is recorded as follows:
<br />Councilmen Beratlis, Rega, Reid, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Gerton were present.
<br />Mr. Edgar, Assistant City Manager, Mr. Hirst, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Director
<br />of Public Works, and Mr. Castro, Director of Planning. were present. Mr. Fales,
<br />City Manager, was absent.

<br />~GENDA AMENDMENTS
<br />Councilman Reid requested that items c and d, regarding Ordinance No. 582. and
<br />items f, g and h, regarding Assessment District No. 69-1, Longview, be removed from
<br />the Consent Calendar and discussed separately.
<br />
<br />.90NSENT CALENDAR
<br />It was moved by Councilman Beratlis and seconded by Councilman Reid that the
<br />following items listed on the Consent Calendar, be approved:
<br />
<br />a. Waiving the reading of Ordinance No. 581. annexing approximately 23 acres
<br />along Vineyard Avenue, commonly known as Annexation No. 61.
<br />
<br />b. Adoption of Ordinance No. 581.
<br />
<br />e. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-252, granting authorization to commence detailed
<br />first phase construction drawings for Muirwood Park.
<br />
<br />1. Adoption of Resoluti.on No. 69-256, authorizing Progress Payment No. L in the
<br />amount of $7,800.48. be paid to Royston, Ranamoto, Beck and Abey, for archi-
<br />tectural work completed on the Amador V3lley Community Park.
<br />
<br />j. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-257, authorizing Progress Payment No.1, in the
<br />amount of $6,750.00. to be paid to A. Tiechert and Son, for work completed on
<br />the Rose Avenue Improvement Project.
<br />
<br />k. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-258, accepting the Public Service Easement from
<br />Valley Title Company (Foothill Farms) Tract No. 2963, Unit No.1.
<br />
<br />1. Setting the Public Hearing at 8:00 P.M. on November 10, 1969, on the applica-
<br />tion of the Planning Commission to eliminate Section 3.0l of Ordinance No.358,
<br />namely. the Subdivision Committee and placing those duties of said Committee
<br />before staff review.
<br />
<br />m. Setting the Public Hearing at 8:00 P.M., on November 10, 1969, on the applica-
<br />tion of the Planning Commission to rezone from the Agricultural District to
<br />the Commercial Neighborhood District, Office District and a Public and Institu-
<br />tional or a Multiple District, that property described as Lot No. 1039, Tract
<br />No. 2953, or more commonly known as the southwest corner of Hopyard Road and
<br />West Las positas Boulevard containing approximately 5.6 acres, more or less.
