<br />Mayor Bernard T. Gerton called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order
<br />at 8:00 P.M.. and then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag.

<br />Councilmen Beratlis. Rega, Reid, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Gerton were present.
<br />M~. Edgar, Assistant City Manager, Mr. Hirst, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell. Director
<br />of Public Works. and Mr. Castro, Director of Planning, were present. Mr. Fales,
<br />City Manager, was absent.

<br />Mayor Gerton requested that the discussion on Human Relations, scheduled for a
<br />f;':1Jdy Session on August 26th. be held immediately after the Consent Calendar this

<br />It was moved by Councilman Spiliotopoulos and seconded by Councilman Beratlis
