<br />CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO FlAG
<br />Mayor Bernard Gerton called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council
<br />to order at 8:00 P.M., and then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag.
<br />
<br />ROLL CALL
<br />City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows:
<br />Councilmen Beratlis, Rega, Reid, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Gerton were ~resent.
<br />Mr. Edgar, Assistant City Manager, Mr. Hirst, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell,
<br />Director of Public Works, and Mr. Patton, Director of Recreation, were present.
<br />Mr. Fales, City Manager, and Mr. Castro, Director of Planning, were absent.

<br />00 Mr. Edgar asked that the amount of the payment specified in Item 4a on the
<br />~ Consent Calendar be corrected to $6,174.56.

<br />U CONSENT CALENDAR
<br />It was moved by Councilman Beratlis and seconded by Councilman Reid that the
<br />following items listed on the Consent Calendar, be approved:
<br />
<br />a. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-190, authorizing a partial retention payment
<br />of $6,174.56 to James Engineering Company for work completed on the HOO Water
<br />Project.
<br />
<br />b. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-191, accepting the Public Improvements in Tract
<br />No. 2831, Highland Oakes, Unit No.4.
<br />
<br />c. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-192, authorizing the City staff to initiate
<br />Local Agency Formation Commission proceedings on Proposed Annexation No. 61,
<br />California-Hawaiian Mobile Estates, Inc.
<br />
<br />d. Waiving the reading of Ordinance No. 566, amending Ordinance No. 520, applying
<br />final zoning district boundaries consistent with final development ~lan, to
<br />approximately 78 acres, owned by Falendar Development Company and located
<br />south of West Las Positas Boulevard, west of Route 680, east of Foothill Road
<br />and north of Bernal Avenue.

<br />e. Adoption of Ordinance No. 566.
<br />
<br />f. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-193, authorizing the re-advertizing for bids for
<br />the tennis courts at Pleasenton Elementary School.
<br />
<br />g. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-194, requesting a supplemental HUD Open Space
<br />Grant for Amador Valley Community Park.
<br />
<br />h. Scheduling a Public Hearing for 8:00 P.M., on September 8, 1969, on the appli-
<br />cation of MacKay Homes for an amendment to Ordinance No. 520, rezoning from
<br />the Agricultural District to the C-N, RM-1500, RM-400 and R-1-6500 Districts,
<br />that property located between the Arroyo del Valle and Hansen Drive, west of
<br />Valley Avenue, said property being a portion of Tract No. 2905.

<br />i. Scheduling a Public Hearing for 8:00 P.M., on September 8, 1969, for an appli-
<br />cation of the Planning Commission for an amendment to Section l7.l08(d),
<br />Article 17, Ordinance No. 520, relating to the signing of areas proposed for
<br />use as multiple dwelling developments.
<br />
<br />j. Approving and authorizing payment of the July, 1969, Claim Warrants in the
<br />amount of $83,427.25.
