13 MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC Mr. Tom Self, Brooktree Way, stated that the Little League and the Babe Ruth Baseball Teams will need land for next year for their games. He suggested that they be permitted to use about 10 acres of the Val Vista Park land. After some discussion, it was moved by Councilman Gerton and seconded by Councilman Spiliotopoulos that this request be referred to the Recreation and Parks Commission for their recommendations. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson, Soillotopoulos and Mayor Reid. NOES: None ABSENT: None EXECUTIVE SESSION: EMPLOYEE SALARY AND FRINGE BENEFIT NEGOTIATIONS AND CITY COUNCIL APPOINTmeNTS. Mayor Reid recessed the meeting to an Executive Session at 11:50 r,~ayor Reid reconvened the meeting at 12:25 A.M.
