45'3. <br /> <br /> MEETING OPEN TO THE. PUBLIC <br /> Mr. Robert Pearson, 3590 Churchill Court, requested that the City Council <br /> enact a moratorium on all rezoning which will increase densities. Mr. Pearson <br /> stated that he had a petition signed by over 900 citizens who were of this opinion. <br /> Mr. Paul Goddini, 4675 Corday Court, initiated discussion regarding the zero <br /> lot line that was approved for the tract on Black Avenue. He also protested the <br /> construction of multiple dwellings. <br /> " Mr. Bill Anneeta, 453 San Gabriel Court, stated that he felt that the developer <br /> benefited by the construction of apartments. <br /> Mr. Robert E. Lee, 4938 Drywood Street, strongly objected to the construction <br /> of apartments. <br /> Mr. Frank Hargstaff, 4506 Naglee Drive, initiated discussion on the capacity <br /> of the sewer plants and the school problems in relation to increasing density <br /> within the City. <br /> Mr. Dan Estorga, 4540 Muirwood Drive, stated that he was in favor of a <br /> moritorium on anything that will not increase density. <br /> Mrs. Christins Pearson, 596 Hamilton Way, opposed multiple zoning in the Rose <br /> Pointe Subdivision as well as in any other tract. <br /> Mr. Robert Pearson presented Mayor Getton with the petition he had referred to <br />~' when he spoke earlier during this discussion of density. <br />'=~ After considerable discussion regarding this matter, Mayor Gerton suggested <br />~]D that a Joint City Council meeting be held with Mr. Pearson and all citizens pro- <br />~ testing both multiple zoning and increased density. Mr. Fales was instructed to <br />~.~ schedule such a meeting. <br /> <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION RE: APPOINTMENTS <br /> Mayor Gerton recessed the meeting at 9:50 P.M., to an Executive Session in <br /> order to discuss appointments to the Housing Authority Commission. <br /> <br /> Mayor Getton reconvened the meeting at 10:05 P.M. <br /> <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 10:07 P.M., it was moved by Councilman Rega <br /> and seconded by Councilman Beretlie that the meeting be adjourned to meet again in <br /> Regular Session at 8:00 P.M., on January 12, 1970. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Beretlie, Rega, Reid, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Getton <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br /> HELEN C.
