465 <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> Pleasanton, California <br /> December 7, 1970 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG <br /> <br />Mayor Robert Reid called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City <br />Council to order at 8:00 P.M. and then led the pledge of allegiance to <br />the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />City Clerk tIelen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson, Spitiotop6ulos and Mayor Reid <br />were present. Mr. Fales, City Manager, Mr. Edgar, Assistant City Mana- <br />ger, Mr. 'Hirst, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works <br />and Mr. Aeillo, Acting Director of Planning, were present. <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br />Mr. Fales asked that four quitclaim deeds to deed back to the property <br />owners who had previously deeded rights-of-way to the City for construc- <br />tion purposes of the Pleasanton Sewer project on Foothill Road, be added <br />to the Consent Calendar.- <br /> <br />Mr. Fales also ~requested that a resolution of intention to abandon a <br />portion of Valley Avenue be added to the Consent Calendar. Mr. Fales <br />was asked .to place this item on the agenda for the meeting of December <br />14, 1970. <br /> <br />Mr. Fales requested that a letter signed by both Dr. Howard Long and <br />Reverend ~Robert Vogt, concerning a loan for "Pleasanton Greens" be <br />added to Communications. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Pearson and seconded by Councilman Beratlis <br />that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, be approved. <br /> <br /> a. Adoption of Resolution No. 70-236, accepting the Water Line, <br /> Appurtenances and Easements on Webb Lane, off Foothill Road. <br /> <br /> b. Accepting the report of the Recreation and Park Commission con- <br /> cerning the report of the Community Concerns C~unmittee on <br /> "Youth on Profile". <br /> <br /> c. Setting the public hearing for January 4, 1971 on the adoption <br /> of a cooperation Agreement with the Housin~~~uthority regarding <br /> Low Rent Housing. <br /> <br /> d. Setting the public hearing for January 4, 1971 on the report of <br /> the Planning Commission regarding the application of First <br /> Pleasanton .Investors for an amendment to the existing approved <br /> PUD application No. 69-8, said amendment is to consider the <br /> variation in the approved preliminary site plan for the town- <br /> -. house complex under ~he RM-2500 District.. <br /> e. Setting the public hearing for January 4, 1971 on the report of <br /> the Planning Commission regarding the application of the Planning <br /> <br /> <br />
