Re~ardin~ Growth Related Fees and Char~es <br /> <br /> Councilman Gerton initiated discussion regarding whether or not the <br /> growth of the City should pay for itself. <br /> <br /> Councilmen Spiliotopoulos and Pearson felt that the Fee Schedul~ <br /> should correlate to the actual costs. <br /> <br />Mayor Reid stated that he felt that fees should help defray the cost <br /> and not entirely pay for the growth of the City. <br /> <br />Mr. Fales stated that the City was not equiped to cost account each <br />of these items. <br /> <br />Mayor Reid asked that a public hearing .regarding the proposed in- <br />creases in Planning and Public Works Fees be scheduled for November <br />16, 1970 and he also directed Mr. Hirst to study the legal ramifi- <br />cations and report on his findings at the November 16th meeting. <br /> <br />Matters for .the Information of the Council <br /> <br />Mr. Fales stated that he has forwarded the Zone No. 7 Minutes for <br />the Council's information. <br /> <br />Mr.: Fales al=so~ stated that he has forwarded the meeting notice for <br />the East Bay Division Meeting of the League of California Cities. <br /> <br />REPORTS 'OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br />Review and Analysis Re: Park DedicatiOn Case <br /> <br />Mr. Hirst explained this matter <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br />From Mrs. Mark Smith, 4241 Cabernet Court, Pleasanton, Re:.
