MINUTES of THE MEETING of THE CITY COUNCIL Pleasanton, California September 21, 1970 CALL TO ORDER- PLEDGE TO FLAG Mayor Robert Reid called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 8:00 P.M. and then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag. ROLL CALL City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which i$ recorded as follows: Councilman Beratlis, Pearson, SpiliotopoulOs and Mayor Reid were present. Councilman Gerton was absent. Mr. Edgar, Assistant City Manager, Mr. Hirst, City, Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works and Mr. Castro, Director of Planning, were present. Mr. Fales, City Manager, was absent. AGENDA' ~AMENDMENTS There were' no amendments to the agenda. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Councilman Spiliotopoulos and seconded by Councilman Pearson that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, be approved. a. Adoption of Resolution No. 70-198, Accepting the Public Improve- ments in Tract No. 2860, Pleasanton Valley~ Unit No. b. Adoption of Resolution No. 70-199, Authorizing Progress Payment No. 1,, in the.amount of $30,762.31, be paid to O.C. Jones for work completed~ on Assessment District No. 70-1, Longview. c.,; Approval of-~he'~minutes of the City Council meetings of August , · '3=d,~ '~'Tth~ ~and ",31,, 1970. d. Approval of the August, 1970 Claim Warrants in the amount of $96~830.23. e. Adoption of Resolution No. 70-200, Authorizing the Final Progress · "Payment',' in 'the" amount of $799.36, be paid to Western Construct- ion Company for work completed on the Pleasanton Main Fire Station and the filing of the Notice of Completion on this project. f'. !
