The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Eeratlis, Gerton, Pearson, Spi!iotopoulos and .Mayor Reid <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None ' <br /> <br />Establishment of- the 1970-1971'Tax Rate <br /> <br />Mr. Edgar reviewed his report, dated August 13, 1970, regarding the 1970-71 <br />Tax n~ate, which recom~nended that a tax rate of $1.40 be established for Area <br />No. 1 and at $1.38 be established for Area tlo.2. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Gerton and seconded by Councilman Beratlis that <br />Resolution No. 70-186, setting the tax rate for 1970-71 at $1.40 for Area <br />No. 1 and at $1.38 for' Area' No~ ' 2-~ --be adopted. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />R~J~ort of the Director of Public Uorks Re: Sionalization of the Main- <br />St. ~ary-Spring Street Intersection <br /> <br />Mr. Edgar suggested that due to the length and complexity of this report <br />that the City Council schedule a study session to discuss this matter. <br /> <br />Mayor Reid concurred and instructed Mr. Edgar to schedule this ~tudy <br />session. <br /> <br />Matters for the Information of the Council <br /> <br />[Ir. Edgar stated that a copy of the report from the tIousing Authority, en- <br />titled, "Need for Lower Income Housing in Pleasanton" has been forwarded <br />to the City Council. <br /> <br />Mr. Edgar advised the City Council that a status report regarding Loma <br />Alta Park has also been" forwarded to the Council. <br /> <br />PI~DOPTS OF THE CITY ATTOP~jEY' <br /> <br />There were no reports from the City Attorney <br /> <br />C{i~!~{U~,IICATIONS <br /> <br />Frof~ L~rs.
