MINUTES <br /> Of <br /> THE ~ETING <br /> Of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> Pleasanton, California <br /> June 14, 1971 <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER- PLEDGE TO FLAG <br /> <br /> Mayor Robert Reid called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to <br /> order at 8:00 P.M. and then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL'CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk'Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br /> Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Rein <br /> were.present. Mr. Fales, City Manager, Mr. Hirst, City Attorney, and <br /> Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works, were present. Mr. Edgar, <br /> Assistant City Manager and Mr. Aiello Acting Director of Planning, <br /> ' <br /> were absent. <br /> <br /> .AGENDAAMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Mr.! Fales asked that item 'd' regarding the report of the Planning <br /> Commission Re: Application to rezone from the Community-Commercial <br /> District to the RM-1500 Multiple District and the Neighborhood-Comm- <br />.erciall District that property described as Parcel 1, Block 2551 of <br /> Book 946 of the~lameda County Assessor's Office, located on the east <br />~'side-ofPico 'Avenue bounded by Tawny Drive on the north and Palomino <br /> Drive, on the south and containing approximately 14.03 acres, be re- <br /> moved from the Consent Calendar. <br /> <br /> CONSNET~CALENDAR <br /> <br /> It wasmovedby Councilman Beratlis and seconded by Councilman Spilio- <br /> topoulosthat the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, be <br /> approved: <br /> <br /> a. City Council Minutes of May 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th, 1971. <br /> <br /> b. .Setting the public hearing for July 12, 1971 on the report <br /> of the Planning Commission Re: Application to rezone from <br /> the .Single Family District to the Residential Overlay District <br /> and also ~to rezone 3.5 acres of the Single Family District to <br /> the .RM-1500 Multiple District, that property described as <br /> Parcels No. 1-2 and 1-3 of Alameda County Assessor's Map <br /> Book No. 946, Block 3215, containing a total of approximately <br /> 69.7 acres. <br /> <br /> c. ~Setting ,the public hearing for June 21, 1971 on the report of <br /> theEPlanningCommission Regarding the Final'approval of Phase <br /> 2v~of the overall PUD, Las Positas, a townhouse development <br /> to 'be'located on the west side of Santa Rita Road north of <br /> the.Arroyo Mocho Canal, Tract 3232, containing approximately <br /> 23.8 acres. <br /> <br /> The rollcall .vote was as'.follows: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, GertOn, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and <br /> NOES~ None Mayor Reid <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> <br />
