25!1 <br /> <br /> Matters for the information of the Council <br /> <br /> Mr. Fales stated that he has forwarded to the City Council, memos and <br /> copies of the related legislation from the City Attorney for Assembly <br /> Bills 1623, 1056 and 474 as well as the non-criminal justice legisla- <br /> tion sponsored by the Attorney General and a copy of the County's <br /> Minor Subdivision Ordinance. <br /> <br /> REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br /> Discussion Re: Assembly Bills 1301-1304 <br /> <br /> Mr. Hirst reviewed his report, dated May 20, 1971, which explained a <br /> number of Assembly and Senate Bills. He stated that he has not reciev- <br /> ed AB 1301 but explained the bill in considerable detail. <br /> <br /> Councilman Gerton requested a weeks' extention in order to review <br /> these bills. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Pearson and seconded by Mayor Reid that <br /> Resolution No. 71-115, supporting A.B. 1301, regarding land use planning <br /> be adopted. <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Reid <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAINED: Councilman Gerton <br /> <br /> Progress Report Re: Four Uncomplete.d. Corley Re: Minutes of Kreske-Myers Rezoning <br /> <br /> Mr. Fales read the report of the City Clerk, dated May 24, 1971, which <br /> reported the conversation of Mr. Corley as taken from the tape record- <br /> ing for the City Council meeting of April 5, 1971. <br /> <br /> Mr. Corley objected to the use of the word "cul-de-sac" and stated <br /> that he had indicated. "hammer-head", regarding the closing of Del Sol <br /> Avenue. <br /> <br /> The~ City Clerk stated that she would correct this description in the <br /> minutes. <br /> <br /> From the E1 Monte City Council Re: Allocation of Sales Tax Revenues. <br /> <br /> Mr. Fales read the above communication which requested support of a <br /> resolution concerning the matter of allocation of Sales Tax revenues. <br /> <br /> The City Council took no action on this matter. <br /> <br />:CITY.
