He stated that both sides of labor <br /> relations were discussed by consultants that were present at this <br /> meeting. <br /> MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL EMBERS <br /> Councilman Pearson stated that he wished to personally commend <br /> Mrs.. Birdie Meier Bianchi for her work on SACEOA. <br /> <br /> Councilman Gerton asked the staff if they would obtain informat- <br /> ion from the State of California to see if any city could refuse <br /> to accept a freeway they didn't want, He stated that he was under <br /> the assumption that the City of Long Beach had sucessfully refused <br /> a freeway. <br /> <br /> Mr. Fales stated that he would investigate this matter. <br /> <br /> .MEETING OPEN.
