~IATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br /> <br />Further discussion regarding A.B. 121, Tenant representation on Hous- <br />i..ng Authority Boards. <br /> <br />Mr. Fales stated that the Pleasanton Housing Authority has withdrawn <br />their opposition to A.B. 121 and therefore, no longer seeks the sup- <br />port of the City Council in opposing this bill. <br /> <br />Application of Dr. E.W. Schlies tO rezone from the Agricultural Dis- <br />trict to the Office '~istrict that property de'S'cribed as Parcel 4, <br />B10C'k 1151, Alameda County ASses~0r's Map Book 946, containing app- <br />'~0~'imately 15.69" acres, more Commonly known as the' northeas'[ ~orner <br />of S'an't'a Rita Road and Mohr Avenue.' <br /> <br />Mr. Fales reported that a meeting between the staff and the applicant <br />was held on April 27, 1971 and the applicant was desirous that the <br />maximum of 5 net acres of the 15.69 acres, be rezoned to the Office <br />District for his proposed medical facility and the remainder of the <br />parcel be zoned to the Public and Institutional District. <br /> <br />After considering the recommendation of the staff, it was moved by <br />Councilman Gerton and seconded by Councilman Beratlis that the follow- <br />ing action be taken. <br /> <br /> 1. The rezoning application of Dr. Schilies be referred back to <br /> the Planning Commission with the specific indication that said <br /> application should be atomended to indicate that no more than <br /> 5 acres of the subject property be rezoned to the Office Dist- <br /> rict, with the remainder 0f the parcel zoned to the Public and <br /> Institutional District and that these 5 acres be zoned with <br /> the specific understanding that they will be used for the dev- <br /> elopment of a medical office complex. <br /> <br /> 2.
