Matters for the Information of the Council Mr. Fales reported that two reports from the AssistanL~ Cit.y ~!iai~ag~ namely, Implementation of the Computerized Utility Billing S~_~stem and a Progress Report on the Central Services Division have been forwarded to the City Council for their information. CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE PJ~PORTS Mayor Reid reported that the Alameda County Mayors Conference took action supporting A.B. 162 and 163 regarding rail extensions of in the Amador Valley. ~ATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL .~.'LEHBERS Mayor Reid stated that he had received a request to proclaim the wee~ of April 18-24 as National Library Week. It was moved by Mayor Reid and seconded by Councilman Beratlis that the Mayor be authorized to proclaim the week of April 18-24, 1971 as National Library Week. EXECUTIVE SESSION: PENDING LITIGATION Mayor Reid recessed the meeting at 11:25 to an Executive Session for the purpose of discussiong pending litigation. Mayor Reid reconvened the meeting at 11:35 P.M.
