MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE D~EETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> Pleasanton, California <br /> March 29, 1971 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG <br /> <br />Mayor Robert Reid called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City <br />Council to order at 8:00 P.M. and then led the pledge of allegiance <br />to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmen Beratlis, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Reid were present. <br />Councilmen Gerton and Pearson were absent. Mr. Fales, City Manager, <br />Mr. Edgar, Assistant City Manager, Mr. Hirst, City Attorney and Mr. <br />Aiello, Acting Director of Planning, were present. Mr. Campbell, <br />Director of Public ~'~orks, was absent. <br /> <br />AGENDA AE,~.NDMENTS <br /> <br />Mr. Fales asked that the item of acceptance of the Recreation Building <br />at Amador Valley Community Park be added to the Consent Calendar as <br />item ' e ' . <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Beratlis and seconded by Councilman <br />Spiliotopoulos ..that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar <br />be approved. <br /> <br /> ao Setting -the public hearing for April 19, 1971 on the applica- <br /> tion to rezone from the Agricultural District to the OffiCe <br /> District-that property-described' as Parcel 4, Block 1151 of <br /> Alameda County Assessor's Map Book 946, containing approxima- <br /> tely 15.69 acres, or more commonly known as the northeast <br /> corner of Santa Rita Road and Mohr Avenue, Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> b. Setting the public hearing for April 19, 1971 on the Amendment <br /> to Section 2-5.38 of Article 3 of Title II of the Ordinance <br /> Code of the City of Pleasanton regarding side-yard fencing as <br /> it pertains to the street side of a corner lot. <br /> <br /> c. Setting the Public Hearing for April 19, 1971 on the amendment <br /> to Section 2-7.08 of Article 8 of Title II of the Ordinance <br /> Code of the City of Pleasanton to add as a conditional use, <br /> Furniture Upholstery Shops in the Community Commercial District. <br /> <br /> d. Adoption of Resolution No. 71-62, accepting five easements <br /> relating to the Hacienda Mobile Home park complex~ <br /> <br /> e. Adoption of Resolution No. 71-61, accepting the Recreation <br /> Building at the Amador Valley' Community Park. <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Reid <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmen Gerton and Pearson <br /> <br /> <br />
