MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> Pleasanton, California <br /> January 25, 1971 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO FLAG <br /> <br />Mayor Robert Reid called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to <br />order at 8:00 P.M. and and then led the pledge of allegiance to the <br />flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Reid <br />were present. Mr. Fales, City Manager and Mr. Campbell, Director of <br />Public Works, were present. Mr. Edgar, Assistant City Manager, Mr. <br />Hirst, City Attorney, and Mr. Aiello, Acting Director of Planning, <br />were absent. <br /> <br />AGENDA A~ENDMENTS <br /> <br />There were no amendments to the agenda. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Spiliotopoulos and seconded by Councilman <br />Pearson that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, be <br />app rove d. <br /> <br /> a. Adoption of ResOlution No. 71-15, granting the City Manager <br /> authorization ~o file an application with the Secretary of the <br /> Interior for Surplus Land at Camp .Parks. <br /> <br /> b. Adoption of Resolution No. 71-16, Authorizing approval to <br /> quitclaim recreational easements, MacKay Homes. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and <br /> Mayor Reid <br />NOES: None <br />ABSNET: None <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />There were no public hearing scheduled to he heard at this meeting. <br />~ATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br /> <br /> There were no matters continued for decision. <br /> <br /> SPECIAL REPORTS <br /> <br /> There were no special reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
