241 MINUTES of THE MEETING of THE CITY COUNCIL Pleasanton, California January 18, 1971 CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO FLAG Mayor Robert Reid called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 8:00 P.M. and then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag. ROLL CALL City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Reid were present. Mr. Fales, City Manager, Mr. Edgar, Assistant City Manager, Mr. Hirst, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works, and Mr. Aiello, Acting Director of Planning, were present. AGENDA AMENDMENTS There were no amendments to the agenda. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Councilman Beratlis and seconded by Councilman Pearson that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, be approved. a. The minutes of the City Council meetings of December 7th, 14th, and 21st, 1970. b. The December, 1970, Claim Warrants in the amount of $97,216.81. c. Setting a public hearing for February 1, 1971, on the report of the Planning Commission regarding an application to rezone from the Agricultural District to the Public and Institutional Dist- rict, .and the RM-2000 Multiple Family District, that property described as Parcels 1-3 and 2-2, Block 3370 of Book 946 of the Alameda County Assessor's Office, containing approximately 9.7 acres and generally located north of the Arroyo del Valle and adjacent to the west boundary line of the Amador Valley High School site on Santa Rita Road. d. Adoption of Resolution No. 71-11, granting a one year time extension for Tract No. 3161, Diller-Granada. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Reid ' NOES: None ABSENT: None PUBLIC HEARINGS There were no public hearings scheduled for this meeting.
