MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br /> <br /> Review and consideration of actions by Zone No. 7 and P.T.C.W.D. approv- <br /> in~ ~oint water committee repor. t Re: Transfer of Water Ri~hts~. <br /> <br /> Mr. Fales reviewed his 'report, dated December 31, 1970, relating to the <br /> Joint Water Committee Report regarding the transfer of the Pleasanton <br /> Township County Water District Water Rights. <br /> <br /> After some discussion, it was moved by Councilman Gerton and seconded <br /> by Councilman Beratlis that Resolution No. 71T9, approving in princip- <br /> al, of the Joint Water Committee recommendation and the resolution of <br /> Zone No. 7, authorizing amendment of Joint Powers Agreement between <br /> Zone No 7 and Pleasanton so as to increase the independent Quota, be <br /> adopted. <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> <br />~-~ AYES: Councilman Beratlis, Gerton, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Reid <br />~D NOES: Councilman Pearson <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> The City Council asked Mr. Fales to schedule a joint meeting with the <br /> Zone No. 7 Board and the P.T.C.W.D. Board in order to discuss the <br /> Del Valle Water Rights Permit, the achieving of higher quaiity water <br /> through surface transportation, and other associated matters. <br /> <br /> Mayor Reid recessed the meeting at 10:05 P.M. <br /> <br /> Mayor Reid reconvened the meeting at 10:20 P.M. <br /> <br /> SPECItUL REPORTS <br /> <br /> There were no Special Reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br /> REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> <br /> Repor_t.gf the Recreation and Park Commission Re: construction o.f Trail <br /> ~tem in ~_.~_ua__~ With Alam..6a~.'
