ETING of THE CITY COUNCIL Pleasanton, California December 13, 1971 CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG Mayor Robert Reid called the Regular Meeting o~ the C'ic.~ C~,?~cil to order at 8:00 P.M. and then led the pledge of allegia~:~ce~ tc the flag. ROLL CALL City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorded a~ follows: Councilmen Gerton, Pearson and Mayor Reid, were present~ Councilmen Beratlis and Spiliotopoulos, were absent. Mr. Edgar, City P~anager, Mr. Hirst, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Director of P'~b!lc ~orks, and Mr. Castro, Director of Community Development, were prescott. Mayor Reid expressed sympathy to the Beratlis family on t}.Ie death of Councilman Beratlis ' brother, Peter~ AGENDA AMENDMENTS There were no amendments to the agenda. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Councilman Pearson and seconded by Co~c~.'~dn Gerton that the following item listed on the Consent Calen<l~'t~: a. The City Council minutes for the meetings o~ November 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd, 1971. Mr. Edgar reviewed his report, dated December 10,197i, '.v}.~.~ch outlined a program to abate oder at the Pleasanton Sewage Treatment Plants, Mr. Richard Kennedy, representing Kennedy Engineers, e~L~!c.lated on Mr. Edgar' s report and explained the Water Qualit!; requirements.
