MINUTES of THE r~ETING of THE CITY COUNCIL Pleasanton, California December 6, 1971 CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO TIlE FLAG Mayor Robert Robert Reid called the Adjourned Regular meeting of the City Council to order at 8:00 P.M. and then led the ~:~ledge of alleg- iance to the flag. ROLL CALL City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorde:l as follows: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and ~-,layor Reid · ~gere present. Mr. Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Hirst, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works and I,~r. Aiello~ Senior Planner, were present. Mr. Castro, Director of Community Dev'ej_opment, was absent. AGENDA AMENDMENTS Mr. Edgar stated that he had received a request from V~C.S.D. to sup- port their application to acquire 25 acres of lark land located north of Route 580, from General Services Administration. ~.ir. EdTar report- ed that V.C.S.D. 's application has been approved bT~r the Valley Plann- ing Committee. Mr. Edgar also stated that he had received an application from. Pleas- anton Youth, Inc. to hold a Teen-Age Dance at the FairSrounds on Dec- ember 18, 1971. Mr. Edgar added that this application complies with regulations. Mr. Edgar requested that the above items be listed as ".!"' and "g" , res- pectively, on the Consent Calendar. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Councilman Spiliotopoulos and seconded by Councilman Beratlis that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, be approved: a. Addoption of Resolution No. 71-240, acceptine the deed from Ditz-Crane for Public Service Easements° b. Adoption of Resolution No. 71-241, accepting the deed from Brookvale Properties for side walk and right-of'-~,~a~ Durposes. c. Adoption of Resolution No. 71-242, acceptmn~. a tem~orar.¥ Grant of Easement from the Estate of Morris Stulsaft for ~rainage purposes. d. Adoption of Resolution No. 243, Approving the Final. ~.ia? and Improvement Plans, Tract No. 3328, Vintage Hills~ Unit ~]oo 10. e.
