MINUTES of THE MEETING of THE CITY COUNCIL Pleasanton, California November 22, 1971 CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG Mayor Robert Reid called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 8:00 P.M. and then led the pledge of alle~aince to the flag. ROLL CALL City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Reid were present. Mr. Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Hirst, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works and ~.~r. Castro, Director of Community Development, were present. AGENDA AMENDMENTS Mr. Edgar asked that an Executive Session be held before the meeting is adjourned. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Councilmen Beratlis and seconded by Councilman Gerton that the following items listed on the Consent Callendar, be approved: a. Setting the public hearina for December 6, 1971 on the appeal of John F. Wallace and Peggy A. Plato from an adverse decision of the Planning Commission in denying UP- 71-28, a 4-plex to be located on the southwest corner of Vineyard Avenue and Mavis Drive. b. Adoption of Resolution No. 71-232, accepting MacKay Homes deed re: parcel Map 769, Public Service Easement. c. Adoption of Resolution No. 71-233, accepting the work, re- vision of pumping equipment on Well Nos. 5 and 7 by Floway Pumps, Inc. d. Resolution No. 71-234, approving the Final MaD and Improve- ment Plans for Tract No. 3327, Vintage Hills, Unit No. 9. e. Adoption of Reolution No. 71-235, accepting a Grant Deed from Kaiser Aetna (MacKay Homes) for 4.07 acre park site on Black Avenue known as MacKay Park No. 1. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and NOES: None Mayor Reid ABSENT: None
