MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> Pleasanton, California <br /> November 22, 1971 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG <br /> <br />Mayor Robert Reid called the Regular Meeting of the City Council <br />to order at 8:00 P.M. and then led the pledge of alle~aince to <br />the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as <br />follows: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and <br />Mayor Reid were present. Mr. Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Hirst, City <br />Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works and ~.~r. Castro, <br />Director of Community Development, were present. <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br />Mr. Edgar asked that an Executive Session be held before the <br />meeting is adjourned. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilmen Beratlis and seconded by Councilman <br />Gerton that the following items listed on the Consent Callendar, <br />be approved: <br /> <br /> a. Setting the public hearina for December 6, 1971 on the <br /> appeal of John F. Wallace and Peggy A. Plato from an <br /> adverse decision of the Planning Commission in denying UP- <br /> 71-28, a 4-plex to be located on the southwest corner of <br /> Vineyard Avenue and Mavis Drive. <br /> <br /> b. Adoption of Resolution No. 71-232, accepting MacKay Homes <br /> deed re: parcel Map 769, Public Service Easement. <br /> <br /> c. Adoption of Resolution No. 71-233, accepting the work, re- <br /> vision of pumping equipment on Well Nos. 5 and 7 by Floway <br /> Pumps, Inc. <br /> <br /> d. Resolution No. 71-234, approving the Final MaD and Improve- <br /> ment Plans for Tract No. 3327, Vintage Hills, Unit No. 9. <br /> <br /> e. Adoption of Reolution No. 71-235, accepting a Grant Deed <br /> from Kaiser Aetna (MacKay Homes) for 4.07 acre park site <br /> on Black Avenue known as MacKay Park No. 1. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and <br />NOES: None Mayor Reid <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> <br />
