MI N UTE S <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> Pleasanton, California <br /> October 4, 1971 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG <br /> <br />Mayor Robert Reid called the Adjourned Regular meeting of the City <br />Council to order at 8:00 P.M. and then led the pledge of allegiance <br />to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmen Beratlis, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Reid were pres- <br />ent. Mr. Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Hirst, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, <br />Director of Public Works and Mr. Castro, Director of Community Develop- <br />ment, were present. *Councilman Gerton was absent. <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br />Mr. Edgar stated that MacKay Homes had requested that the public hear- <br />ing on their zoning application, listed as item 5-b, be postponed un- <br />til the meeting of November 1, 1971. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Spiliotopoulos and seconded by Councilman <br />Beratlis that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, be <br />app rove d: <br /> <br /> a. Adoption of Resolution No. 71-194, accepting the deed .from. Louis <br /> J. Costanzo, et al, in Tract No. 3298, adjacent to S.P.R.R. for <br /> temporary easement for storm drains. <br /> <br /> b. Adoption of Resolution No. 71-195, accepting the deed from <br /> Morrison Homes in Tract No. 3254 for Quitclaim Deed. <br /> <br /> c. Adoption of Resolution No. 71-196, Accepting the deed from Frank- <br /> lin Savings and Loan Association for street purposes. <br /> <br /> d. Adoption of.~Resolution No. 71-197, approving the bid results for <br /> the l~ase of two half-ton Vans and one half-ton Pick-up Truck <br /> from John Edgren and Sons for a total cost of $9,352.96. <br /> <br /> e. Adoption of Resolution No. 71-198, approving the public improve- <br /> ments in Tract No. 3096, Vintage Hills, Unit No. 6. <br /> <br /> f. Adoption of Resolution No. 71-199, approving the plans and' <br /> specifications, and authorizing the advertising for bids for <br /> project No. 71-3, Sanitary Sewer Improvements along Santa Rita <br /> Road. <br /> <br /> g. Adoption of Resolution No. 71-200, accepting the Relinguishment <br /> of Highway Right-of-way. <br /> <br /> h. Setting the public hearing for October 18, 1971 on the report <br /> of the City Attorney, regarding the Proposed new ordinance re- <br /> lating to dumping into Water Courses. <br /> <br /> <br />
