MI N UTE S of THE MEETING of THE CITY COUNCIL Pleasanton, California October 4, 1971 CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG Mayor Robert Reid called the Adjourned Regular meeting of the City Council to order at 8:00 P.M. and then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag. ROLL CALL City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilmen Beratlis, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Reid were pres- ent. Mr. Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Hirst, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works and Mr. Castro, Director of Community Develop- ment, were present. *Councilman Gerton was absent. AGENDA AMENDMENTS Mr. Edgar stated that MacKay Homes had requested that the public hear- ing on their zoning application, listed as item 5-b, be postponed un- til the meeting of November 1, 1971. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Councilman Spiliotopoulos and seconded by Councilman Beratlis that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, be app rove d: a. Adoption of Resolution No. 71-194, accepting the deed .from. Louis J. Costanzo, et al, in Tract No. 3298, adjacent to S.P.R.R. for temporary easement for storm drains. b. Adoption of Resolution No. 71-195, accepting the deed from Morrison Homes in Tract No. 3254 for Quitclaim Deed. c. Adoption of Resolution No. 71-196, Accepting the deed from Frank- lin Savings and Loan Association for street purposes. d. Adoption of.~Resolution No. 71-197, approving the bid results for the l~ase of two half-ton Vans and one half-ton Pick-up Truck from John Edgren and Sons for a total cost of $9,352.96. e. Adoption of Resolution No. 71-198, approving the public improve- ments in Tract No. 3096, Vintage Hills, Unit No. 6. f. Adoption of Resolution No. 71-199, approving the plans and' specifications, and authorizing the advertising for bids for project No. 71-3, Sanitary Sewer Improvements along Santa Rita Road. g. Adoption of Resolution No. 71-200, accepting the Relinguishment of Highway Right-of-way. h. Setting the public hearing for October 18, 1971 on the report of the City Attorney, regarding the Proposed new ordinance re- lating to dumping into Water Courses.
