MINUTES of THE MEETING of THE CITY COUNCIL Pleasanton, California June 26, 1972 CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG Mayor Pro Tempore Mori called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 7:00 P.M. and then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag. ROLL CALL City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Pearson "and Mayor Pro Tempore Mori, were present. Mr. Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Hirst, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works, Mr. Castro, Director of Community Development, were present, AGENDA AMENDMENTS Councilman Pearson requested that item "a" on the Consent Calendar and an item Under Matters Continued for decision, be discussed at this time. Councilman Pearson stated that he felt that the Planning Commission should be instructed to defer the approval of all Tentative Maps and the refiling of them as well as deferring the approval on all Final Maps until the Park Dedication Ordinance has been acted upon, or at least condition these maps, if possible. Considerable discussion ensued after Mr. Hirst explained the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act. Mr. Edgar requested that an Executive Session be held at the end of the meeting to discuss some pending litigation. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Councilman Herlihy and seconded by Councilman Kinney that the following item listed on the Consent Calendar, be approved: a. Approval by Planning Commission of Tentative Tract 3102, Oakhill, Refile. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Pearson and Mayor Pro Tempore Mori NOES: None ABSENT: Mayor Reid PUBLIC HEARINGS Appeal of Cummings and Company from an adverse decision of the Plan~ng Commission. in denyin~ aFranklln Savin~ and Loan Tir~e and Temperature Sign. Mayor Pro Tempore Mori declared the public hearing and asked for a staff report.
