MINUTES of THE MEETING of THE CITY COUNCIL PleaSanton, California March 20, 1972 CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO FLAG Mayor Robert Reid called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 8~00 P,M. and then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag. ROLL CALL City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Reid were present. Mr. Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Hirst, City Attorney and Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works, were present. Mr. Castro, Director of Community Development, was absent. AGENDA AMENDMENTS Mr. Edgar requested that Mayor Reid call for an Executive Session before the'meeting is adjourned. ! Councilman Pearson requested that item "b" be removed from the Consent Calendar and discussed separately. Mayor Reid requested that March 29, 1972 be proclaimed as Knights of Columbus~Day=be~added;to the Consent Calendar. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved ~y Councilman Spiliotopoulos and seconded by-Councilman Beratlis that'the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, be approved: a. February, 1972 Claims in the amount of $96,796.34. b. Proclaiming March 29, 1972 as Knights of Columbus Day. The roll call vote was as follows: ' AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson, Spiliotopoulos and NOES: None Mayor Reid ABSENT: None Approval of Final Map and Improvement Plans for Tract No. 3364, Pleasanton Valley, Unit No. 18. Councilman Pearson stated that he would not approve this Final Map until the sewage situation has been resolved. After some discussion, it was moved by Councilman Beratlis and seconded by Mayor Reid that Resolution No. 72-39, approving the Final Map and Improvement Plans for Tract No. 3364, Pleasanton Valley,.UnitNo. 18, be adopted~ The rollcall vote was as.follows: AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Gertom~ Spiliotopoulos-and Mayor Reid NOES:" Councilman Pearson ABSENT: None
