V-72-2, Lot 13, Tract 2659, Rosepoint Subdivision, 568 Hamii- <br /> ton Way - reduce garage setback from 20' to 17'. <br /> <br /> Mr. Edgar stated that the developer has agreed to remodel the homes <br /> on Lot Nos. 4 and 13 to comply with the set-back requirements and <br /> therefore, no .variances will be needed. <br /> <br /> Mr. Aiello presented drawings and explained the remodeling that is <br /> to be done. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Gerton and seconded by Councilman Beratlis <br /> that the appeal of the Osmundsen Company be dismissed. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson, and Vice-' Mayor Spilio- <br />NOES: None topoulos <br />ABSENT: Mayor Reid <br /> <br />SPECIAL REPORTS <br /> <br />Application of Lee J. Amaral, Re: Design"Boa-rd'Permit Z-71-115, <br />S. ta. nle~ Boulevard Property. <br /> <br />Mr. Aiello explained just where the property of Mr. Amaral was-located <br />and Mr. Campbell pointed out where .the existing 4" water line on <br />Stanley Boulevard' terminated and Mr. Frudden stated that this sized <br />line was not adequate to meet fire protection regulations. <br /> <br />Mr. Amaral sta~ed that the extension of ~ water line large enough to <br />satisfy the .requirements of the .Fire Department would cost Approx- <br />imately $15,000. He further stated that he was unable fro-absorb this <br />cost. "He _further requeste~ that he be allowed lto put in a holding <br />tank for sewer service. <br /> <br />Mr. Amaral asked the'City Council .to consider Waiving these require- <br />ments pending the extension of utilities to his property, for which <br />he would enter into an agreement to participate in an assessment <br />district or any other program to share costs. <br /> <br />After discussion on thi~ matter the City Council agreed that. Mr. <br />Amaral would have to replace the 4" water' line with an 8" .one in <br />order to meet the fire protection requirements for the proposed <br />buildings. -' <br /> <br /> 2 .
