MINUTES of THE MEETING of THE CITY COUNCIL Pleasanton, California March 6, 1972 CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO FLAG Vice Mayor George Spiliotopoulos called the Adjourned Regular meeting of the City Council to order at 8:00 P.M. and then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag. ROLL CALL City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson and Vioe Mayor Spiliotopoulos, were present. Mayor Reid was absent. Mr. Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works and Mr. Aiello, Senior Planner, were present. Mr. Hirst, City Attorney and Mr. Castro, Director of Commu- nity Development, were absent. AGENDA AMENDMENTS Mr. Edgar requested that a resolution establishing a fee for a Strong- Motion Instrumentation Program be added to the Consent Calendar. Mr. Edgar further requested that the matter of al proclamation pro- claiming April, 1972 as National Lions Businessman's Association Month, be added to the Consent Calendar. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Councilman Pearson and seconded by Councilman Beratlis that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved. a. Waiving of the ~eading of Ordinance No. 654, Re: Ordinance En forcement. b. Adoption of Ordinance No. 654. c. Adoption of Resolution No. 72-32, establishing a fee schedule for Swimming Pools. d. Adoption of Resolution No. 72-33, approving the plans and specifications, Mackay Park No. 1, located on Black Avenue in Del Prado, and authorization to advertise for bids. e. Adoption of Resolution No. 72-34, Accepting Public Improvements, Tract 3230, Laguna Vista Estates. f. Adoption of Resolution No. 72-35, Consolidating Precincts, designating polling places, appointing election officers and fixing compensation thereof. g. Adoption of Resolution No. 72-36, establishing a fee for the Strong-Motion Instrumentation Program. h. Proclaiming April, 1972, as National Lions Businessman's Assoc- iation month.
