MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> Pleasanton, California <br /> March 6, 1972 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO FLAG <br /> <br />Vice Mayor George Spiliotopoulos called the Adjourned Regular meeting <br />of the City Council to order at 8:00 P.M. and then led the pledge of <br />allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson and Vioe Mayor Spiliotopoulos, <br />were present. Mayor Reid was absent. Mr. Edgar, City Manager, Mr. <br />Campbell, Director of Public Works and Mr. Aiello, Senior Planner, were <br />present. Mr. Hirst, City Attorney and Mr. Castro, Director of Commu- <br />nity Development, were absent. <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br />Mr. Edgar requested that a resolution establishing a fee for a Strong- <br />Motion Instrumentation Program be added to the Consent Calendar. <br /> <br />Mr. Edgar further requested that the matter of al proclamation pro- <br />claiming April, 1972 as National Lions Businessman's Association Month, <br />be added to the Consent Calendar. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Pearson and seconded by Councilman Beratlis <br />that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved. <br /> <br /> a. Waiving of the ~eading of Ordinance No. 654, Re: Ordinance <br /> En forcement. <br /> <br /> b. Adoption of Ordinance No. 654. <br /> <br /> c. Adoption of Resolution No. 72-32, establishing a fee schedule <br /> for Swimming Pools. <br /> <br /> d. Adoption of Resolution No. 72-33, approving the plans and <br /> specifications, Mackay Park No. 1, located on Black Avenue <br /> in Del Prado, and authorization to advertise for bids. <br /> <br /> e. Adoption of Resolution No. 72-34, Accepting Public Improvements, <br /> Tract 3230, Laguna Vista Estates. <br /> <br /> f. Adoption of Resolution No. 72-35, Consolidating Precincts, <br /> designating polling places, appointing election officers and <br /> fixing compensation thereof. <br /> <br /> g. Adoption of Resolution No. 72-36, establishing a fee for the <br /> Strong-Motion Instrumentation Program. <br /> <br /> h. Proclaiming April, 1972, as National Lions Businessman's Assoc- <br /> iation month. <br /> <br /> <br />
