MINUTES of THE MEETING of THE CITY COUNCIL Pleasanton, California February 28~ 1972 CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO FLAG Mayor Robert Reid called the Regular Meeting to order at 8:00 P.M. and then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag. ROLL CALL City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilmen Beratlis, Gerton, Pearson=, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor. Reid, were present. Mr. Edgar, City-Manager, Mr. Hirst, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works and Mr. Aie!lo, Senior Planner, were present. Mr. Castro, Director of Community Development, was absent. AGENDA AMENDMENTS Mr. Edgar requested that the matter of proclaiming the week. of March 12-17th, 1972, as De Molay,Week, be placed on the Consent Calendar° CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Councilman Beratlis and seconded by Councilman, Pearson that the following items listed on.~theConsent Calendar, be approved: a. Approval of Claims in the amount of $152,278.58, for, January, 1972. b. Waiving of the reading of Ordinance No. 652, Re: The establish- ment of precise plan lines for Railroad Avenue between Division Street and Spring Street. c. Adoption of Ordinance No o 652. d. Waiving of the Reading of Ordinance No. 653, Re.: The establish- ment of precise plan lines for Rose Avenue between Pleasanton Avenue and Fair Street. e. Adoption of Ordinance No. 653. f. Adoption of Resolution No. 72-28 ,formalizing the representation at SACEOA. g. Adoption of Resolution No. 72-29. approving the plans and spec- ifications for the widening of Santa Rita Road, Black Avenue to Amador Shopping Center, and authorization to advertise for bids. h. Adoption of Resolution No~ 72-30 accepting the Public Improve- ments, Tract 3232~ Las Positas, Unit No~ 1. i. Proclaiming the week of March 12-17th, 1972 as"DeMolay Week."
