MINUTES <br /> OF <br /> THE MEETING <br /> OF <br /> TIlE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> December 4, 1972 <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG <br /> Mayor Robert Reid 'cal'Zed' the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the <br /> City COuncil to order at 8:00 P.M., and then led the pledge of alleg- <br /> iance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded <br />as follows: Councilmen Kinney, Mori, Pearson, Herlihy and Mayor Reid <br />were present. Mr. Edgar, City Manager, Mr. ttirst, City Attorney and <br />Mr. Castro, Director of Community Development were present. Mr. Camp- <br />bell, Director of Public Works, was absent. <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Edgar requested an item be added under the Consent Calendar <br /> to accept deeds for public service easements from Frank Auf der Maur <br /> on Vineyard Avenue. <br /> <br /> Councilman Pearson requested an Executive Session be held after <br /> item 5 on the agenda. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilman Kinney and seconded by Councilman <br />Pearson that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, be <br />approved: <br /> <br /> a. Approval of City Council Minutes for November 27, 1972. <br /> <br />b. Audit for the 1971-72 Fiscal Year <br /> <br /> c. Adoption of Resolution No. 72-203, accepting Grant Deed and <br /> Quitclaim Deed from Frank Auf der Maur, for public service <br /> easements on Vineyard Avenue. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen tterlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: No~e <br /> <br />PUBLIC ttEARINGS <br />Application of the Planning Commission to consider the Environmental <br />Impact Statement and to rezone from the R-1-6500 (Single Family) <br />District and 'the A (A~ricultural) District, those properties or parcels <br />identifle'd as follows: Tract #3311 from the R-1-6500 (Single Family <br />Residential) District to the C-S (Commercial Service), P (Public and <br />InstitutiOnal), and I-P (Industrial Park) District, or such other land <br />use as deemed acceptable to the Planning Commission, and Tract #3312 <br />from the R-1-6500 (Single Family Residential) District to the P (Public <br />and Institutional) District or such other land use as deemed acceptable <br />to the Planning Commission, and Parcel #941-1302-2-19 from the A <br />(Agricultural) District to the C-S (Commercial Service)District, P <br />(P'ublic and Institutional) District, and I-P (Planned Industrial) Dis- <br />trict, or such other land use as deemed acceptable to the Plannin~ <br />Commission, and said parcel co~tainin~ more or less 13.85 acres. Said <br />tracts or parcel of land .gg. nerall~ located on the Val Vista Development <br />(Singer ttousin~ Company"), fronting on Stoneridge Drive, H'oi'lan~ Dr~ve <br />and Denker Drive, Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> <br />
