MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL November 27, 1972 CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG Mayor Robert Reid called the !.'Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council to Order at 8:00 P.M., and then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag. ROLL CALL Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson and Mayor Reid were present. Mr. Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Hirst, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works were present. Mr. Castro, Director !of~ Community Development was absent. AGENDA AMENDMENTS Mr. Edgar requested that item 10 (a) be continued two weeks. Councilman Kinney requested that the Minutes for the meeting of November 20, 1972 be corrected !to include on page 2, under R~port Re: Policy Statement on Savings emd Loan Institutions, the following motion: it was movedby Councilman Kinney, and seconded by Councilman Herlihy,· that the proposed resolution be adopted with the following modifications: 1. That the location and construction of any financial institutions within the City of Pleasanton shall first be encouraged and permitted in the Central Business District or Commercial Regional Dist. ricts of the City; and 2. That in the event that a ~in branch facility is located in the C-C or C-R Districts, sate~X~%%. ~ffices wilt be allowed in the C-N DiStrict as a Conditional Use.
