Councilman Kinney commented on the recent meeting with the Chamber <br />of Commerce Downtown Development Committee. He stated that he would <br />appreciate receiving more information regar~!ing the parking assessment <br />district. <br /> <br /> ~Ir. Edgar stated that a report regarding the downtown area was <br />underway at this time and that as soon as it was available, further <br />Council ~d Char~3er discussions would take place. <br /> <br /> .~ayor P~eid requested the staff to look into the possibility of <br />installing benches on 24aln Street at various locations that would be <br />convenient to the pedestrian traffic. <br /> <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> No one addressed the Chair. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> ~ayor Reid recessed the meeting to an Executive Session at 9:55 p.m. <br /> <br /> f.layor Reid reconvened the meeting at 10:12 p.m. <br /> <br />AD JO U ?~JI,-{E NT <br /> There being no further business at 10:15 p.m., it was moved by <br />Councilman Kinney, and seconded by Councilman ~ori, that the meeting <br />be adjourned to meet again in Adjourned Regular Session at 8:00 p.m., <br />on November 20, 1972. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Kinney, Mori, Pearson and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Herlihy <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br />WILLIAM H.
