MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> November 6, 1972 <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG <br /> Mayor Robert Reid called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council to <br /> order at 8:00 P.M., and then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br /> Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson and Mayor Reid were present. Mr. Edgar, <br /> City Manager, Mr. Hirst, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works, and <br /> Mr. Castro, Director of Community Development, were present. <br /> <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Edgar requested the following two amendments to the agenda: <br /> 1. Add to the Consent Calendar, a resolution, Re: Participation with City of <br /> Livermore in Auction of abandoned, unclaimed Bicycles. <br /> <br /> 2. Delete from Special Reports, item b - Report of the City Attorney, Re: <br /> Final draft of the Agreement with VCSD and Builders regarding Sewer <br /> Agreement, because the agreement is not ready. <br /> <br /> Mayor Reid requested that under Public Hearings, item a - the word "permit" <br /> be changed to "allow". <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br />.... It was moved by Councilman Mori, and seconded by Councilman Kinney, that the <br /> following items listed on the Consent Calendar, be approved: <br /> <br /> a. Approval of City Council Minutes for October 30 and October 31, 1972. <br /> <br /> b. Waive reading of Ordinance No. 681, approving the application of the Planning <br /> Commission of the City of Pleasanton to amend the existing zoning for that <br /> property bounded on the north by Interstate Highway #580, on the east by <br /> Interstate Highway #680, on the south by Stoneridge Drive and on the west <br /> by Foothill Road. Said property and proposed amendments described more pre- <br /> cisely as follows: To the C-R (Commercial Regional) District those parcels <br /> defined as follows: Portion of 941-1201-12-3; 941-1201-9; Portion of <br /> 941-1201-10; 941-1201-8; 941-1201-7; 941-1201-6; Portion of 941-1201-5; <br /> 941-1201-1; Portion of 941-1201-2; said parcels containing more or less <br /> 178.045 acres~ <br /> <br /> c. Adoption of Ordinance No. 681. <br /> <br /> d. Waive reading of Ordinance No. 682, approving the application of the Planning <br /> Commission of the City of Pleasanton to amend the existing zoning for that <br /> property bounded on the north by Interstate Highway #580, on the east by <br /> Interstate Highway #680, on the south by Stoneridge Drive and one the west <br /> by Foothill Road. Said property and proposed amendments described more pre- <br /> cisely as follows: To the P.U.D. Multiple District those parcels defined as <br /> follows: Portion of 941-1201-12-3; Portion of 941-1201-10; Portion of 941-1201-5; <br /> Portion of 941-1201-2; 941-1201-3; 941-1201-4; 941-1201-11; said parcels con- <br /> taining more or less 97~645 ac~es, with two conditions attached. <br /> <br /> e. Adoption of Ordinance No. 682~ <br /> <br /> f. Adoption of Resolution No. 72-186, approving partial acceptance of public <br /> improvements, Tract 3150, Stoneson Townhouses. <br /> <br /> g.Adoption of Resolution No, 72-187, approving Engineer's Final Recapitulation <br /> of costs in Assessment District No. 1970-1 (Longview). <br /> <br /> <br />
