It was moved by Councilman Herlihy, and seconded by Councilman Kinney, that <br /> the public hearing be closed. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson and Mayor Reid <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Pearson, and seconded by Councilman Mori, that <br /> Ordinance No. 679, extending the S District for those properties included in <br /> Study District D, or more commonly known as those properties in and around the <br /> Mission Park Area, for 90 days, be adopted on an urgency basis. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson and Mayor Reid <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br /> Waive reading of Ordinance No. 676~ and ordinance changing the speed l~m4ts on <br /> Santa Rita Road and Tassajara as follows: Wells St. to Valley Ave. - 35 MPH~ <br /> Valley Ave. to Tassajara - 45 MPH~ Tassajara to Interchange - 55 MPH <br /> Mr. Edgar stated this ordinance was introduced last week by a 4-1 vote. <br /> It was moved by Councilman Pearson, and seconded by Councilman Herlihy, to <br />waive the reading of Ordinance No. 676. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Adoption of Ordinance No. 676 <br /> It was moved by Councilman Mori, and seconded by Councilman Kinney, that <br />Ordinance No. 676, changing the speed limits on Santa Rita Road and Tassajara, <br />be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: Councilman Pearson <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Report of the Director of Park and Recreation~ Re: Increase in Park Dedication <br />Fees <br /> This matter was continued from the meeting of September 18, 1972. <br /> Gary Patton presented the history of park land acquisition, and Justification <br />for the proposed fee increase. Mr. Patton explained alternatives available for <br />Council action, requesting that the Park Dedication fee be increased by the fol- <br />lowing actions: (1) amendment to the Park Dedication Ordinance and, (2) amendment <br />to the Bedroom Tax Ordinance. He further requested the matter of the total park <br />acquisition in the City be referred to the General Plan Review. <br /> Discussion ensued regarding required acreage dedication per dwelling unit <br />designation. <br /> It was moved by Councilman Pearson that an ordinance be introduced, changing <br />the requirements for low density multiples from 1.7 acres per 100 units to 1.9 <br />acres. <br /> The motion died for lack of a second. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Mori, and seconded by Councilman Kinney, that <br />Ordinance No. 680, an ordinance amending Article 10 of Chapter 1, Title II, and <br />Article 6 of Chapter 2, Title I, of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton <br />relating to Park Dedication Land and Fee Requirements and Taxation of Construc- <br />tion of Residential Dwelling Units and Mobile Home lots, respectively, be <br />introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> 3. 9/25/72 <br /> <br /> <br />
