Parcel 1-1~ Block 3295~ Assessor's Map Book 946~ containin~ 2.70 acres more or <br /> less; Parcel 3-8~ Block 3295~ Assessor's Map Book 946~ containin~ 6.93 acres <br /> more or less; said properties fronting on Santa Rita Road and more commonly <br /> known as those properties from and includin~ the Western Sierra facility to <br /> the Morrison Homes single-family development <br /> Mr. Castro presented the background report regarding this matter, stating <br /> the Planning Commission recommended placing this property in the "S" District <br /> £or 60 days. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilman Pearson, and seconded by <br />Councilman Kinney, to place in a Study District for a period of 60 days the <br />following properties: Parcel 1-2, Block 3295, Assessor's Map Book 946, con- <br />taining 2.58 acres more or less; Parcel 1-1, Block 3295, Assessor's Map Book <br />946, containing 2.70 acres more or less; and Parcel 3-8, Block 3295, Assessor's <br />Map Book 946, containing 6.93 acres more or less, fronting on Santa Rita Road <br />including the properties from and including the Western Sierra facility to the <br />Morrison Homes single-family development, but excluding Parcel 2-2, Block 3295, <br />Assessor's Map Book 946, containing .95 acres more or less, Wm. Struthers pro- <br />perty. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney and Pearson <br />NOES: Councilman Mori and Mayor Reid <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Pearson, and seconded by Councilman Herlihy, that <br />Parcel 2-2, Block 3295, Assessor's Map Book 946, containing .95 acres more or <br />less, be referred back to the Planning Commission for further study, with the <br />recommendation that it be placed in the "0" District. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney and Pearson <br />NOES: Councilman Mori and Mayor Reid <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Reconsideration of Application of Citizens Savings and Loan at Alpha Beta Center <br /> Mr. Castro presented the staff report regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Councilman Herlihy reported on a meeting between himself, Planning Commission <br />Chairman Garrigan, and Mr. Castro with the State Commissioner in Sacramento, <br />regarding savings and loan institution applications and policies, with parti- <br />cular regard to the subject application. He further stated that because the <br />appl~.cation had already been approved by the Federal authorities, the State <br />also gave approval, but they would not have approved it if the application had <br />come to them first because the population in Pleasanton does not warrant another <br />savings and loan institution at this time. <br /> <br /> Councilman Herlihy requested this matter be continued for two weeks, pending <br />another meeting with the State Commissioner regarding several unanswered ques- <br />tions on this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Reid declared the matter continued for two weeks. <br /> <br />Waive readins of Ordinance Now 667~ an ordinance amendin~ Chapter V of Title V <br />of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton relatin~ to truck routes by the <br />deletion thereof and the addition of a new Chapter V relating to the regulation <br />of the use of City Streets by trucks <br /> <br />Adoption of Ordinance No. 667 <br /> <br />Waive readin~ of Ordinance Noo 670~ an ordinance amending Chapter V of Title V <br />of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton relating to truck routes by the <br />deletion thereof and the addition of a new Chapter V relatin~ to the regulation <br />of the use of City Streets by trucks~ exempting the Stanley Blvd.-First St.- <br />Sunol Blvd. routes from the provisions of the ordinance <br /> <br />Adoption of Ordinance No. 670 <br /> Mr. Campbell stated the agreement between the gravel companies and the City <br />was not ready, and requested this matter be continued for two weeks for further <br />study~ <br /> <br /> 8/21/72 <br /> <br /> <br />
