<br />CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG
<br /> Mayor Robert Pearson called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council
<br />to order at 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag.
<br />
<br />ROLL CALL
<br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows:
<br />Councilmen Herlihy, Mori, Reid, and Mayor Pearson were present. Councilman Kinney
<br />was absent. Mr. Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Scheidig, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell,
<br />Director of Public Works, Mr. Patton, Director of Parks and Recreation, and Mr.
<br />Castro, Director of Community Development, were present.
<br />
<br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS
<br /> Mro Edgar stated there would be a Joint meeting with the City Council of Liver-
<br />more and the Board of Directors of V.C.S.D., on June 13, 1973, at the Dublin Corral
<br />to discuss Labor Negotiations, Transportation, and Water Management Plan.
<br />
<br /> Mayor Pearson requested that the Minutes of May 30, 1973, be corrected on Page
<br /> 2, under Item d, to read $230,000.00 instead of $230,000,000.00.
<br />
<br />CONSENT CALENDAR
<br /> It was moved by Councilman Reid, and seconded by Councilman Mori, that the
<br /> following items listed on the Consent Calendar, be approved, as amended:
<br />
<br />a. Approval of City Council Minutes for May 30, 1973, as amended, and City
<br /> Council Minutes for June 4, 1973.
<br />
<br />b. Adoption of Resolution No. 73-103, approving Progress Payment No. 10, to
<br /> Precomp Tanks, Inc., for construction performed during May, 1973, Bonds
<br /> Reservoir, Project No. 72-4, in the amount of $2,086.98.
<br />
<br /> c. Adoption of Resolution No. 73-104, approving Progress Payment No. 1, to
<br /> Lopez Landscape Constractors for construction on Loma Alta Park, in the
<br /> amount of $20,450.86.
<br />
<br />d. Proclaim September 2-8, 1973, as Union Label Week, on behalf of Central
<br /> Labor Council of Alameda County.
<br />
<br /> e. Proclaim 3une 17-24, 1973, as "Can-Do" Week, on behalf of Pleasanton
<br /> Little League.
<br />
<br />f. Authorize the City Manager to send reply to Vic Lund, Jr., regarding
<br /> Sunol Boulevard Sewage Treatment Plant.
<br />
<br />g. Acceptance of Grant Deed from Ramada Inns, Inc., for road purposes.
<br />
<br />h. Acceptance of two Grant Deeds and one Right-of-Way Contract from
<br /> Pleasanton Investors, Re: Santa Rita Road.
<br />
<br />i.Acceptance of Grant Deed and Improvement Agreement from Roman Catholic
<br /> Church of Oakland for Foothill Road widening.
<br />
<br /> The roll call vote was as follows:
