REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY Report, Re: Assembly Constitutional Amendment No. 16 This matter was continued to the meeting of 3-19-73. COMMUNICATIONS There were no Communications presented at this meeting. CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS Councilman Pearson urged the City Councilmen to attend the Valley Planning Committee Symposium on Current and Future Valley-wide Cooperative Governmental Efforts, ohMarch 15, 1973, 3:30 P.M., at Castlewood. MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL MEMBERS Councilman Kinney stated that Assembly Bill 24, regarding making BART Directors elective, is due to come up on March 27th, and urged Council endorsement of this Bill. The Council asked to receive a copy of AB 24, and consider this matter at the meeting of 3-19-73. EXECUTIVE SESSION Mayor Reid recessed the meeting to an Executive Session at 11:55 P.M. Mayor Reid reconvened the meeting at 12:02 A.M. It was moved by Councilman Mori, and seconded by Councilman Pearson, that Resolution No. 73-38, reappointing William Thompson to a four year term on the Pleasanton Housing Authority Board, said term to expires 1-25-77, be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson, and Mayor Reid NOES: None ABSENT: None ADJOUKNMENT There being no further business at 12:05 A.M., it was moved by Councilman Kinney, and seconded by Councilman Herlihy, that the meeting be adjourned to meet again in Regular Session at 8:00 P.M., on March 19, 1973.
