Matters for the Information of the Council <br /> This matter was continued to the meeting of 3-19-73. <br /> <br /> REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br /> Report, Re: Assembly Constitutional Amendment No. 16 <br /> This matter was continued to the meeting of 3-19-73. <br /> <br /> COMMUNICATIONS <br /> There were no Communications presented at this meeting. <br /> <br /> CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> Councilman Pearson urged the City Councilmen to attend the Valley Planning <br /> Committee Symposium on Current and Future Valley-wide Cooperative Governmental <br /> Efforts, ohMarch 15, 1973, 3:30 P.M., at Castlewood. <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL MEMBERS <br /> Councilman Kinney stated that Assembly Bill 24, regarding making BART Directors <br />elective, is due to come up on March 27th, and urged Council endorsement of this <br />Bill. <br /> <br /> The Council asked to receive a copy of AB 24, and consider this matter at the <br />meeting of 3-19-73. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Mayor Reid recessed the meeting to an Executive Session at 11:55 P.M. <br /> <br /> Mayor Reid reconvened the meeting at 12:02 A.M. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Mori, and seconded by Councilman Pearson, that <br />Resolution No. 73-38, reappointing William Thompson to a four year term on the <br />Pleasanton Housing Authority Board, said term to expires 1-25-77, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson, and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />ADJOUKNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 12:05 A.M., it was moved by Councilman <br />Kinney, and seconded by Councilman Herlihy, that the meeting be adjourned to <br />meet again in Regular Session at 8:00 P.M., on March 19, 1973. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Pearson, and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br /> 7. 3/12/73 <br /> <br /> <br />
