Application of the Planning Commission to lift the S (Study) District for those <br />properties included in Study District E, or ~o;e commonly known as that property <br />located between the Del Valle P.arkway and the Arroyo del Valle (Creeksbend) <br /> Mayor Reid declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> Mr. Castro presented the staff report and displayed maps regarding this matter, <br />stating that since the main areas of concern had been satisfactorily resolved, the <br />Study District should now be lifted in order to allow development. <br /> <br /> Mr. Bud Lake, representing Morrison Homes, gave a brief history of the property <br />in question, and urged removal of the S District. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Herlihy, and seconded by Councilman Mori, that the <br />public hearing be closed. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Mori, Pearson, and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Kinney <br /> <br /> Councilman Pearson urged setting the minimum density for this property at this <br />time. <br /> <br /> Mayor Reid requested consideration be given to what the intention for land use <br />would be after the S District is removed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman'Mori, and seconded by Councilman Herlihy, that the <br />application of the Planning Commission to lift the S (Study) District for those <br />properties included in Study District E, or more commonly known as that property <br />located between the Del Valle Parkway and the Arroyo del Valle (Creeksbend), be <br />approved. ~.~.~,~ <br /> maximum~~ <br /> It was moved by Councilman Pearson to amend the motion to set a~density <br />on this property of RM-4000. <br /> <br /> This motion died for lack of a second. <br /> <br />The roll call vote on the original motion was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Mori, and Mayor Reid <br />NOES: Councilman Pearson <br />ABSENT: Councilman Kinney <br /> <br /> Councilman Herlihy stated that Pleasanton needs something new and exciting in <br />the way of P.U.D. development and urged Morrison Homes to come up with a different <br />design for this unit. <br /> <br />Application of the Planning Commission to consider the Environmental. Impact <br />Statement and to rezone from the R-1-6500 (Single Family) District and the A <br />(Agricultural) District, those properties or parcels identified as follows: <br />Tract #3311 from the R-1-6500 (Single. Family Residential) District to the C-S <br />(Commercial Service}, P (Public and Institutional}, and I-P (Industrial Park) <br />District, or such other land use as d.eemed acceptable to the Planning Commissions <br />and Tract #3312 from the R-1-6500 {Single Family Residential} District to the P <br />(Public and Institutional) District or such other land use as deemed acceptable <br />=o the Planning Commission, and Parcel #941-1302-2-19 from =he A (Agricultural) <br />District to the C-S (Commercial Service) District, P (Public and Institutional) <br />District, and I-P (Planned Industrial) District, or such other land use as <br />deemed acceptable to the PlanninE Commission~ and said parcel containin~ more <br />or less 13.85 acres~ said tracts or parcel of land generally located on the <br />Val Vista Development (Sin~er Housing Company), fronting on Stoneridge Drive, <br />~o!land Drive, and Denker Drive, Pleasanton <br /> Mayor Reid declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> Mr. Hirst elaborated on the conditions set forth in the Stipulated Judgment <br />regarding proximity to the Valley Community Services District Sewer Plant, as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> 2. 2/26/73 <br /> <br /> <br />
