The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Reid, and Mayor Pearson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Request for Position~ Re: Assembly Bill 938 <br />Mr. Scheidig stated that the City has recently received an inquiry from <br />Assemblyman Carlos Bee on AB 938, which would require economic impact reports <br />to be prepared in the same manner that environmental impact reports are pre- <br />pared and to be available at the same time as the environmental impact report° <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Reid, and seconded by Councilman Kinney, support- <br />ing AB 938, and authorizing the City Attorney to transmit this information to <br />Assemblyman Carlos Bee. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlthy, Kinney, Mori, Reid, and Mayor Pearson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Ncne <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br /> There were no Communications presented at this meeting° <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> Councilman Kinney reported on the Rock, Sand and Gravel Committee held July <br />20th, stating that E1 Charro Road realignment was discussed and that the County <br />would report on this matter again in October. <br /> <br />MATTERS INITiATED BY COUNCIL MEMBERS <br /> Councilman Herlihy requested that someone be in attendance at the public <br />hearing of the Alameda County Planning Commission on July 26th and 31st, on the <br />Kaiser Dump Site, to present the City of Pleasanton's position regarding this <br />matter. Mr. Herlihy was request to attend. <br /> <br /> Mayor Pearson asked for a review of Mike Ananos' program with regard to the <br />school crossing at Santa Rita Road and West Las Positas. This matter was referred <br />to the Traffic Safety Committee for study. <br /> <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> No one addressed the Chair. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 11:45 P.M., it was moved by Councilman Mori, <br />and seconded by Councilman Kinney, that the meeting be adjourned to meet again in <br />Regular Session at 8:00 P.M., on August 6, 1973. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Reid, and Mayor Pearson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br /> 6. 7/23/73 <br /> <br /> <br />
