Legislation <br /> Mr. Scheidig presented his report regarding various legislation. <br /> <br /> It was the consensus of the City Council to support AB-2047 and AB-687, and to <br />take no position on AB-1723~ <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br /> There were no Communications presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> Mayor Pro Tem Kinney presented a report on the one day Legislative Action Task <br />Force Workshop in Sacramento on June 12, 1974, stating that cities are urged to <br />become more involved with the legislative process in Sacramento. <br /> <br /> It was the consensus of the City Council that Mayor Mori be designated as the <br />Council's representative to the League of California Cities Legislative Task <br />Force. <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL MEMBERS <br /> Mayor Pro Tem Kinney requested that the Amador High School Baseball Team and <br />Diane Dunbar be co~ended for their athletic achievements, and presented with <br />commendations at the next regular meeting on July 8, 1974. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 10:30 P.M., it was moved by Councilman <br />Philcox, and seconded by Councilman Herlihy, that the meeting be adjourned to <br />meet again at Adjourned Regular Session at 5:00 P.M., on July 1, 1974. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Philcox, and Mayor Pro Tem Kinney <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilwoman LeClaire and Mayor Mori <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br />WILLIAM Ha EDGAR, CITY CLERK <br /> <br /> 6/24/74 <br /> <br /> <br />
