It was moved by Councilman Kinney, and seconded by Councilman Herlihy, that <br />Resolution No. 74-102, summarily vacating a portion of Ray Street and excepting <br />therefrom an easement for public utility purposes and authorizing the execution <br />of a quitclaim deed to Mro and Mrs~ Ralph Souza, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, <br /> and Mayor Mori <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Legislation <br /> Mr. Scheidig indicated that he would contact the Council on this matter via <br />letter. <br /> <br />Court Case <br /> Mr~ Scheidlg presented a report regarding Petaluma Court Case. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> Councilwoman LeClaire reported on the meeting of ACAP nd ACTEB and explained <br />the functions of these Committees. <br /> <br /> Councilman Philcox reported on the Chamber of Commerce meeting at which time <br />it was requested that the City Council reiterate their position regarding the <br />Kaiser Reclamation ProJect~ <br /> <br /> Councilman Herlihy reported on the Valley Planning ConmLittee meeting. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mori reported on the LAVWMAmeettng. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mori requested Councilman Herlihy to prepare a 1E~tter to CAGE regarding <br />the work that has been done by the City related to the KaisE=r Reclamation Project. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mori requested Councilwoman LeOlairs to prepare ~. memorandum informing <br />the City Council as to the activities which have been undertaken and which are <br />on-going regarding transportation, and also to gain informal approval from the <br />City Council regarding actions of ACAP and ACTEB. <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL MEMBERS <br /> Councilman Herlihy requested staff to find out if the eed Abatement OrdinanCe <br />could be applied to the I.O~FoFo Cemetery. <br /> <br /> Councilman Herlihy requested the City Council to take position in opposition <br />to the proposed Post Office location on Black Avenue. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS <br /> It was moved by Councilman Herlihy, and seconded by Co ncilman Kinney, that <br />Resolution No. 74-103, appointing Ronald Musket and Dick Butera as representatives <br />from the City of Pleasanton to the Air Quality Committee, bE adopted° <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Councilwoman LeClaire.
