<br /> Mro Edgar stated this matter had been reviewed earlier in Study Session.

<br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilman Kinney, and seconded by Councilman
<br /> Herlihy, that Resolution No. 74-44, approving the funding arrangement with V.C.S.D.
<br /> regarding the phase-out of the Sunol Plant as proposed by staff, be adopted.
<br /> The r~ll call. vote was as follows:
<br /> AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, and
<br /> Mayor Mori
<br /> NOES: None

<br /> it was moved by Councilman Philcox, and seconded by Councilman Herlihy, that
<br /> Resolution No. 74-45, authorizing the City Manager to proceed with Kennedy Engineers
<br /> on the next phase of the sewer project report, be adopted, and also check with the
<br /> State regarding feasibility of funding for a sewage treatment plant in Pleasanton,
<br /> and to schedule another Study Session for City Council regarding this matter.

<br /> wagon Repair Shop (a ~ara~e) in ~ st~ictly residential area that is zoned R-1-6500~
<br /> located at 648 St~ John Street
<br /> Mro Harris presented the staff report, dated March 21, 1974, regarding this
<br /> matter~
<br />
<br />__ Mayor Mcri declared the public hearing open.
<br />
<br /> Mr. Bill Hirst, 147 Bernal Avenue, representing Mrs. Marylee L. Eaton, stated
<br /> this application did not comply with the Home Occupation Article of the Zoning
<br /> Ordinance, and urged City Council approval of the appeal.
<br />
<br /> Mr, Randy Hadley, 648 St. John Street, stated that he would comply with all of
<br /> the conditions imposed by the Planning Commission, and further stated that the
<br /> petition signed by residents in the area indicated no general opposition to his
<br /> business.
