255 <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Reid, and Mayor Pearson <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Legislation <br /> Mro Scheidig presented his report regarding this matter° He stated that SB-1340 <br /> (Moscone) would clear up legislation for disclosure of assets and conflict of interest. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Mori, and seconded by Mayor Pearson, to support <br /> SB-1340 (Moscone), and authorize the City Attorney to prepare a telegram to be sent <br /> to the Governor over the Mayor's signature indicating this support. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Mori, Reid, and Mayor Pearson <br /> NOES: Councilman Kinney <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Mr. Scheidig stated that AB-325 (Powers), Professional Services - Competitive <br /> Bidding for Professional Services, is legislation which would require public <br /> agencies to obtain three bids from qualified firms before an architectural or <br /> engineering services contract is authorized. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Herlihy, and seconded by Councilman Mori, that the <br /> City Council go on record in opposition to AB-325 (Powers) and authorizing the <br /> City Attorney to take appropriate action in this regard. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Reid, and Mayor Pearson <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> COMMUNICATIONS <br /> There were no Communications presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />....
