COMMUNICATIONS <br /> There were no Communications presented at this meeting° <br /> <br /> CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> Councilman Mot! reported on a meeting with State Water Quality Control Board in <br /> Sacramento on February 8, 1974, regarding financing of V.C,S.D. 8 mgd Plant. He <br /> stated the State was not too receptive to the proposed negotiations. Mayor Pearson <br /> requested this matter be resolved before Election, if possible. <br /> <br /> Mayor Pearson reported on the Mayors' Conference and Symposium regarding various <br /> aspects of granting procedures, held February 6, 1974. <br /> <br /> MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL MEMBERS <br /> Councilman Mori requested that some kind of system be established whereby the <br /> public could be advised of the hours of operation of gas stations° <br /> <br /> MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> No one addressed the Chair. <br /> <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Mayor Pearson recessed the meeting to an Executive Session at 11:30 P.M. <br /> <br /> Mayor Pearson reconvened the meeting at 11:35 P.M. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Kinney, and seconded by Councilman Herlihy, that <br /> Mayor Pearson and Councilman Mori be appointed to the Water Management Agency Com- <br /> mittee on an interim basis~ <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, and Mayor Pearson <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilman Reid <br /> <br />-- ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 11:40 P.M., it was moved by Councilman Kinney, <br /> and seconded by Councilman Mori, that the meeting be adjourned to meet again in <br /> Regular Session at 8:00 P~Mo, on February 25, 1974. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, and Mayor Pearson <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilman Reid <br /> <br /> Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br /> WILLIAM H.
