COMMUNICATIONS <br /> There were no Communications presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> Councilman Mori reported on a meeting of the Water Interest Committee, stating <br />that the 208 Planning Area had been discussed, and this matter would be placed 6n <br />the agenda next week for review. <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL MEMBERS <br /> Councilman Herlihy stated that the local E.P.A. and local Highway Department in <br />San Francisco had essentially approved the widening of 1-580, but that Washington <br />E~P.A. had questions regarding this matter and had returned the application for <br />further information. <br /> <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> Mr. Brad Hirst. 2456 Minivet Court, stated that an independent businessman in <br />Pleasanton, Mr. Holland, should be commended for his courageous stand in honest <br />business dealing in the gasoline market in light of the black market that exists <br />at this time. The City Council requested further information and review in <br />regard to this matter. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 10:55 P.M., it was moved by Councilman Reid, <br />and seconded by Councilman Mori, that the meeting be adjourned to meet again in <br />Adjourned Regular Session at 8:00 P.M., on February 4, 1974. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Mori, Reid, and Mayor Pearson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br /> 6. 1/28/74 <br /> <br /> <br />
