Hours, dated December 11, 1974, <br />regarding ban of horses on Main Street, and his opposition to this ban. <br /> <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> No one addressed the Chair. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br />Report of Claim from H. C. Elliott~ Inc. <br /> Mr. Scheidig advised City Council that a claim for breach of contract in the <br />sum of $2.5 million had been received from H. C. Elliott. It was recommended <br />that the claim be referred to the City Attorney for handling and defense of any <br />subsequent law suit which might be filed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilwoman LeClaire, and seconded by Councilman Herlihy, <br />that the Claim of H. C. Elliott, Inc., be referred to the City Attorney for <br />handling, as well as the defense of any subsequent law suit which may be filed. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, <br /> and Mayor Mori <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br /> There were no Communications presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> Councilwoman LeClaire reported that she, Councilman Herlihy, and Jim Walker <br />had toured Union City's mini-bus system. <br /> <br /> Councilman Kinney reported on a meeting of the Board of Trustees for BASSA, <br />stating that Contra Costa County was also experiencing problems with waste <br />disposal. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mori reported on a meeting with the residents of Mission Park on <br />December 14, 1974, regarding status of the Sunol Boulevard Sewage Treatment <br />Planto <br /> <br /> Council instructed staff to write to the Regional Water Quality Control <br />Board for permission to commence 2 month monitoring program at the Sewage <br />Treatment Plant. <br /> <br /> 6. 12/16/74 <br /> <br /> <br />
