MINUTES of THE MEETING of THE CITY COUNCIL December 8, 1974 CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG Mayor Floyd Mori called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. ROLL CALL Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilman Herlihy, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, and Mayor Mori were present. Councilman Kinney was absent. Mr. Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Scheidig, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Assistant CityManager/Director of Public Works, Mr. Bowling, Director of Housing and Community Development, Mr. Harris, Director of Planning, Mr. Sooby, Director of Engineering Services, and Mr. Walker, Assistant to the City Manager, were present. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Councilman Herlihy, and seconded by Councilwoman LeClaire, that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved: a. Approval of City Council Minutes for Nov. 25 and Dec. 2, 1974. b. Adoption of Ordinance No. 748, adding Sect. 1-1.14 to Chapter 1 (General Provisions), Title I (Administration) of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton pertaining to misdemeanor sanctions on persons who wilfully and maliciously provide or receive personal data from the Criminal oriented records production unified system (CORPUS). c.Acceptance of Grant Deed from Clementson and Schlies for a 31 ft. wide strip along Santa Rita Road for right-of-way purposes. d. Adoption of Resolution No. 74-236, approving Progress Payment No. 1, to Munkdale Bros. Inc., in the amount of $27,615.50, for work accomplished at Woodthrush Park. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilman Herlihy, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, and Mayor Mori NOES: None ABSENT: Councilman Kinney PUBLIC HEARINGS Application of the Planning Commission from Richard Burge for a revision to PUD-73-2~ tO allow the additio~ of a second floor to a commercial building now under construction; said commercial building is located on the north side of Valley Avenue approximately 590 feet west of Santa Rita ~oad~ Pleasanton; zoning for the property beipg C-N (Commercial Neighborhood) District Mayor Mori declared the public hearing open on this item and continued to the meeting of December 16, 1974, 8:00 P.M., at the Pleasanton Justice Court. An ordinance amending Section 2-7.08(a)~ Article 8 (C Commercial Districts)~ Chapter 2 (Zoning)~ Title II (Zoning and Development)~ of t~e Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton Pertaining to equipment. rental yards Mr. Harris presented the staff report, dated December 4, 1974, regarding this matter. Mayor Mori declared the public hearing open. No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to this item. Mayor Mori declared the public hearing closed.
