MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> December 8, 1974 <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG <br /> Mayor Floyd Mori called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 8:00 <br /> P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br /> Councilman Herlihy, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, and Mayor Mori were <br /> present. Councilman Kinney was absent. Mr. Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Scheidig, <br /> City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Assistant CityManager/Director of Public Works, Mr. <br /> Bowling, Director of Housing and Community Development, Mr. Harris, Director of <br /> Planning, Mr. Sooby, Director of Engineering Services, and Mr. Walker, Assistant <br /> to the City Manager, were present. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilman Herlihy, and seconded by Councilwoman LeClaire, that <br /> the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved: <br /> <br />a. Approval of City Council Minutes for Nov. 25 and Dec. 2, 1974. <br /> <br />b. Adoption of Ordinance No. 748, adding Sect. 1-1.14 to Chapter 1 (General <br /> Provisions), Title I (Administration) of the Ordinance Code of the City of <br /> Pleasanton pertaining to misdemeanor sanctions on persons who wilfully and <br /> maliciously provide or receive personal data from the Criminal oriented <br /> records production unified system (CORPUS). <br /> <br /> c.Acceptance of Grant Deed from Clementson and Schlies for a 31 ft. wide <br /> strip along Santa Rita Road for right-of-way purposes. <br /> <br />d. Adoption of Resolution No. 74-236, approving Progress Payment No. 1, to <br /> Munkdale Bros. Inc., in the amount of $27,615.50, for work accomplished <br /> at Woodthrush Park. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilman Herlihy, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, and <br /> Mayor Mori <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Kinney <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />Application of the Planning Commission from Richard Burge for a revision to <br />PUD-73-2~ tO allow the additio~ of a second floor to a commercial building <br />now under construction; said commercial building is located on the north side <br />of Valley Avenue approximately 590 feet west of Santa Rita ~oad~ Pleasanton; <br />zoning for the property beipg C-N (Commercial Neighborhood) District <br /> Mayor Mori declared the public hearing open on this item and continued to <br />the meeting of December 16, 1974, 8:00 P.M., at the Pleasanton Justice Court. <br /> <br />An ordinance amending Section 2-7.08(a)~ Article 8 (C Commercial Districts)~ <br />Chapter 2 (Zoning)~ Title II (Zoning and Development)~ of t~e Ordinance Code <br />of the City of Pleasanton Pertaining to equipment. rental yards <br /> Mr. Harris presented the staff report, dated December 4, 1974, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mori declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mori declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> <br />
