Request of Harm Ottens for removal of two Heritage Trees from the back yard at <br />285 Kottinger Avenue <br /> Mr. Sooby presented the staff report dated November 15, 1974, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mori declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> Mr. Harm Ottens, 285 Kottinger Avenue, stated he concurred with the staff <br />report, and requested approval to remove the trees. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mori declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilwoman LeClaire, and seconded by Councilman Kinney, that <br />Resolution No. 74-227, approving request of Harm Ottens for removal of two Heritage <br />Trees from the back yard at 285 Kottinger Avenue, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, <br /> and Mayor Mori <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Application of the Planning..Commission to fezone from C-F (Commercial Freeway) to <br />C-S (Commercial Service) District, that area bordered by the Arroyo del Valle on <br />the South, Santa Rita Road on the West, Stanley Blvd., on theINorth~ and the <br />weste.r~ ~oun~ary of the PleasantonMobile Home Park on the East <br /> Mr. Harris presented the staff report dated November 20, 1974, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mori declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mori declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> Councilwoman LeClaire stated that the staff report indicated City Council <br />objection to this rezoning on grounds of proliferation of mobile home parks, when <br />in fact she was more inclined to the protection of residents of mobile home parks <br />from the obnoxious uses included in C-S zoning. such as heavy trailer truck <br />terminals. <br /> <br /> Councilwoman LeClaire reiterated her strons objection to Commercial-Service <br />zoning in the subject area. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Kinney, and seconded by Councilman Philcox, that <br />Ordinance No. 747, be introduced, to be read by title only and waiving further <br />reading thereof, rezoning from C-F (Commercial Freeway) to C-S (Commercial Service) <br />District, that area bordered by the Arroyo del Valle on the South, Santa Rita Road <br />on the West, Stanley Blvd., on the North, and the western boundary of the <br />Pleasanton Mobile Home Park on the East, and amending the Zoning Map of the <br />City of Pleasanton accordingly. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Kinney, Philcox, and Mayor Mori <br />NOES: Councilman Herlthy and Councilwoman Letlairs <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Resolution of Intention for Assessment District No. 1974-!q~ Peters Avenue Parking <br />Local Improvement District, City o~ .Pleasanton, Alameda county, california, and on <br />the Engineer's Report filed pursuant thereto <br /> <br />Review of Bids~ Award of Contract, Ass.e. ssment District No. !974-10, Peters Avenue <br />Parking Local Improvement District <br /> Mr. Bowling presented the staff report dated November 22, 1974, regarding this <br />matter, and displayed map showing boundaries of the District and size of each parcel <br />involved.
