Mr~ Campbell then turned the meeting over to Mr. Robert Kennedy of Kennedy <br />Engineers~ <br /> <br /> Mr~ Kennedy summarized Volume 3 (Best Apparent Project), dated November~ <br />1974, for the City Council. He described the various service areas pertaining <br />to both the V.C.S.D. Plant and the Sunol Planto In addition, he described the <br />basis upon which population projections were made and the basis upon which the <br />Plant was sized. He then described the two most viable alternatives, which were <br />the interceptor sewer to V.C.S.D., and the construction of a new sewage treat- <br />ment plant in the southern part of the City. In this connection, he also <br />described the cost of each project and timetable for construction. <br /> <br /> Mr, Campbell then reviewed a cost comparison analysis of each alternative <br />in order to give the City Council a better basis for ultimate decision, <br /> <br /> After the staff report, several questions were raised bythe City Council <br />and it was determined that this meeting would be continued to October 7, 1974, <br />Pleasanton Justice Court, 30 West Angela, for further review and discussion of <br />this particulaz matter. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Mayor Mori adjourned the meeting to an Executive Session at 10:30 P.M. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mori reconvened the meeting at 11:50 P.M. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 11:52 P.M., it was moved by Councilman <br />Philcox, and seconded by Councilwoman LeClaire, that the meeting be adjourned <br />to meet again in Adjourned Regular Session at 8:00 P.M., on October 7, 1974. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, <br /> and Mayor Mori <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br />W~LLIAM H, EDG~R,~CI~YCLERK ~" ~'' ~ ~' <br /> <br /> 9/30/74 <br /> <br /> <br />
