It was moved by Councilman Herlihy, and seconded by Councilman Kinney, that <br />Resolution Noo 74-185, declaring that the City of Pleasanton is providing fire <br />protection services within its Jurisdiction and requesting exemption by the <br />Board of Supervisors pursuant to Government Code Section 25643 of costs for <br />providing fire protection services in any fire district, including the City <br />of Pleasanton, within its boundaries, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, <br /> and Mayor.Mort <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Amendment to Article 11~ Chapter 1~ .~i. tle II of the Ordinance Code relating to <br />Council Review of Tentative Map~ <br /> Mr. Scheidig presented his report dated September 18, 1974, regarding this <br />matter, stating that in order to allow the City Council to review tentative maps <br />on its own motion, it is recommended that the Council adopt an ordinance allowing <br />for such review. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Kinney, and seconded by Councilwoman LeClaire, that <br />Ordinance No. 742, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, <br />amending Article ll (Modification and Appeal), Chapter 1 (Subdivision), Title II <br />(Zoning and Development), of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton relating <br />to Council review of tentative subdivision maps, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, <br /> and Mayor Mori <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br /> There were no Communications presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> Councilwoman LeClatre stated she had received correspondence from ABAG regard- <br />ing proposals of Job training and employment relative to ACTEB, and recommended <br />support of this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilwoman LeClaire, and seconded by Councilman Kinney, <br />that the City of Pleasanton generally support the Education and Training Act <br />funding as proposed by ABAG Clearing House relative to ACTEB. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, <br /> and Mayor Mori <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL MEMBERS <br /> There were no matters initiated by Council Members presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION: Appointments <br /> Mayor Mori recessed the meeting to an Executive Session at 11:55 P.M. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mori reconvened the meeting at 12:25 A.M. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 12:30 A.M., it was moved by Councilman <br />Kinney, and seconded by Councilman Philcox, that the meeting be adjourned to <br />meet again in Adjourned Regular Session at 8:30 P.M., on September 30, 1974. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, <br /> and Mayor Mori <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> 7. 9/23/74 <br /> <br /> <br />
